NYT Spelling Bee 6-1-21 final

We’re in June already! And today the final installment of Calah’s cushions blog series dropped. Next Tuesday is back to me and my writing. The next series will be about a pair of tables that I worked on in different ways. I did one after the other–and one still isn’t finished–but I’m going to write one series that tracks both through the same stages.

Yesterday I missed DELETE, DELETED, DIGIT, EDIT, EDITED, EIGHTIETH, LITTLE, and TIDIED.

Meatier Misses

TILTH: Cultivation of land; tillage.

I’m surprised I got all four pangrams. I didn’t know if there were more I’d missed. It happens to me often when I think I’ve gotten all of them, and I haven’t that there’s more than one I’d missed. Oh well!

Today’s summary

Letters: ICLNORU
Final score: 32 words for 125 points.

Final score: 33 words for 132 points.
New word: UNICORN.

Genius minimum: 124 points.
First word: IRON.
Pangram: COUNCILOR.

About raabidfun

I'm a guy living the #raabidfun lifestyle. I figured I would create a blog about crossword puzzles I do. The idea is to do the NYT crossword and the WSJ crossword daily as much as I can. That includes when I don't finish and have clearly failed. They can be difficult. Also I am not an attorney, and any legal analysis in this blog reflects my interpretation, which means it can be flawed and should not be relied upon for use in legal matters (especially against me).
