I started out hot but slowed down considerably.

Also I sliced my finger this morning while scraping some glue off a wood board that I’m putting polyurethane on so the termites are deterred from eating it. I had to glue it up first because the termites had gotten to it in years past. I did not follow my own safety procedures while scraping the dried excess glue off, and that was stupid.

I’ve opted not to share a picture of my finger but can if anyone’s interested.

It’s my left ring finger, so while I’m happy my nurse fiancee was able to attend to my wound, it’s a reminder that covid, compounded by the inaction of the Trump administration, means the way my finger is being kept together is the only accoutrement on that digit.
