NYT Spelling Bee 11-16-20 final

Today was the first really long puzzle in a while. I still don’t like it. Where is Queen Bee? I don’t want to find out if I have to drop 80 words on the puzzle.

While I was up in arms yesterday about DEGLAZE/D, I had tried ILLEGALIZE/D without success, so I figured that neither was a word. Errantly, as Lauren pointed out to me.

The two that kept me from Queen Bee yesterday were IDEALIZE and IDEALIZED.

Final score: 52 words for 208 points.
Genius minimum: 207 points.
First word: IMMINENTLY
Pangrams: IMMINENTLY, EMINENTLY
Missed opportunities: LIMEY, MILLE, LIMELITE

About raabidfun

I'm a guy living the #raabidfun lifestyle. I figured I would create a blog about crossword puzzles I do. The idea is to do the NYT crossword and the WSJ crossword daily as much as I can. That includes when I don't finish and have clearly failed. They can be difficult. Also I am not an attorney, and any legal analysis in this blog reflects my interpretation, which means it can be flawed and should not be relied upon for use in legal matters (especially against me).
