NYT Spelling Bee 12-4-20 final

Hello from Day 16 of the current California COVID constant curfew!

I didn’t spent too long on this one. Got what I needed to and then got out.

Yesterday I didn’t miss too many, but I’m glad I didn’t continue to try to get Queen Bee because I would not have gotten any remaining word.

Meaty misses

HELVE: The handle of a weapon or tool. Calah and I went to LAAX for one of our early dates. It was her idea. We haven’t been back since, but that’s mainly been because COVID happened. Stupid COVID. You’re not wanted here!
LAVE: Wash. Like lavatory or lavanderia, I guess.
VILELY: Adverb of vile.

Today’s summary

Final score: 30 words for 132 points.
Genius minimum: 130 points.
First word: WORKDAY
Pangrams: WORKDAY, YARDWORK
Tweet that got either less enthusiasm than it deserved or exactly the amount it deserved:

It’s a waddaya know! joke. A great way to end the week.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

About raabidfun

I'm a guy living the #raabidfun lifestyle. I figured I would create a blog about crossword puzzles I do. The idea is to do the NYT crossword and the WSJ crossword daily as much as I can. That includes when I don't finish and have clearly failed. They can be difficult. Also I am not an attorney, and any legal analysis in this blog reflects my interpretation, which means it can be flawed and should not be relied upon for use in legal matters (especially against me).
