NYT Spelling Bee 3-1-21 final

Hello from the first day of March! I’m stopping the count of the reopening of California because it’s open. Humidity here in Los Angeles has been in the low-teens and lower. The problem for me in these conditions is making sure that I take the lip balm out of my pocket before doing washing my clothes. I forgot to do that once and was horrified to find a warm and empty ChapStick in the laundromat dryer. That led to the unexpectedly early retirement of plenty of #raabidfun T-shirts. But then COVID hit, and I got to wear then again and preserve the new ones.

Many new ones still in stock!
Yes, they’re in women’s, too!

Yesterday I missed MINIM, NINJA, and URANIUM.

Meatier Misses

INURN: Place or bury (something, especially ashes after cremation) in an urn.
JINN/JINNI: (in Arabian and Muslim mythology) an intelligent spirit of lower rank than the angels, able to appear in human and animal forms and to possess humans.

Today’s summary

Final score: 42 words for 237 points.
Genius minimum: 233 points.
First word: CACAO.
Pangram: CANONIZATION.

About raabidfun

I'm a guy living the #raabidfun lifestyle. I figured I would create a blog about crossword puzzles I do. The idea is to do the NYT crossword and the WSJ crossword daily as much as I can. That includes when I don't finish and have clearly failed. They can be difficult. Also I am not an attorney, and any legal analysis in this blog reflects my interpretation, which means it can be flawed and should not be relied upon for use in legal matters (especially against me).
