NYT Spelling Bee 5-11-21 final

So there was an error this morning with Calah‘s blog: I had expected it to drop at 10am, but since she has different authorship, I didn’t know if that’s why I hadn’t gotten a notification. Well, it turned out that I had set the post to drop at 10am on May 12. The WordPress scheduling calendar is M-S, rather than S-S.

In haste, Wednesday looks a lot like Tuesday. If you haven’t seen @ccaallaahh’s blog post yet, it’s worth a read.

Yesterday I missed BUMBLEBEE, DUMDUM, EMBLEM, MEMED, and MULE.

Meatier Misses

Nothing here to report. Sad I missed BUMBLEBEE, but that’s how it goes.

Today’s summary

Letters: BACELTX
Final score: 30 words for 135 points.
Genius minimum: 133 points.
First word: TAXABLE.
Pangram: EXACTABLE.

About raabidfun

I'm a guy living the #raabidfun lifestyle. I figured I would create a blog about crossword puzzles I do. The idea is to do the NYT crossword and the WSJ crossword daily as much as I can. That includes when I don't finish and have clearly failed. They can be difficult. Also I am not an attorney, and any legal analysis in this blog reflects my interpretation, which means it can be flawed and should not be relied upon for use in legal matters (especially against me).
