NYT Spelling Bee 7-12-21 final

I’ve been watching It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I watched the entire series years ago, but now there’s a lot more show than there was at that time. I’m in the seventh season now, which is where Mac got fat. I recently learned that he actually did just put on weight. Intentionally. For the show. Because he wanted to. Genius.

Yesterday I missed EYEHOLE, EYETEETH, EYETOOTH, GHETTO, GOTH, HOLT, HOOT, HOTLY, and THEE.

Meatier Misses

THOLE: A pin, typically one of a pair, fitted to the gunwale of a rowboat to act as the fulcrum for an oar.

From stexboat.com, some dude’s personal site about boating.

Today’s summary

Letters: NCDEKLU
Final score: 33 words for 157 points.
Genius minimum: 138 points.
First word: DUNE.
Pangram: KNUCKLED and CLUNKED.

About raabidfun

I'm a guy living the #raabidfun lifestyle. I figured I would create a blog about crossword puzzles I do. The idea is to do the NYT crossword and the WSJ crossword daily as much as I can. That includes when I don't finish and have clearly failed. They can be difficult. Also I am not an attorney, and any legal analysis in this blog reflects my interpretation, which means it can be flawed and should not be relied upon for use in legal matters (especially against me).
