NYT Spelling Bee 8-2-21 final

I did get my suits from Indochino today! After a little bit of a freakout because things were pulling weird, it turned out that I just had to cut the threads that had bound the jacket flap. It looks like I’ll have something to wear to the wedding! Less than two weeks, Calah! They’re airing out now because they have kind of a factory smell. It’s dissipated some.

Yesterday I missed ACCLAIM, AIOLI, AMYL, CALMLY, CIAO, CLAY, COCA, CYCLICAL, CYCLICALLY, ILIAC, LACY, LAMA, LILAC, MAIM, MICA, and MOOLA.

Meatier Misses

ACYCLIC: Not displaying or forming part of a cycle.
LOAM/LOAMY: I’ll let Todd explain.

Today’s summary

Letters: ABILTVY
Final score: 33 words for 157 points.
Genius minimum: 155 points.
First word: BIALY.
Pangram: AVAILABILITY.

About raabidfun

I'm a guy living the #raabidfun lifestyle. I figured I would create a blog about crossword puzzles I do. The idea is to do the NYT crossword and the WSJ crossword daily as much as I can. That includes when I don't finish and have clearly failed. They can be difficult. Also I am not an attorney, and any legal analysis in this blog reflects my interpretation, which means it can be flawed and should not be relied upon for use in legal matters (especially against me).
