I finished this one in five. It’s my first finish in five in two days. The last time I got a five was Monday, May 1.
Analysis:
Welcome back to another Wordle blog post! Today is May 3rd, and the Wordle word of the day was BASIL. I managed to solve the puzzle in five guesses.
My first guess was GRIFT, but unfortunately, I didn’t get any letters in the right place, though I did discover that I was in the word. Next, I tried IMPEL, which managed to get the letter L in the correct place.
For my third guess, I tried VINYL, but this didn’t reveal any new letters. Then, I tried QUAIL, which meant I had two letters in the right places: I and L.
For my fifth and final guess, I tried BASIL, and to my relief, it was the correct answer. It’s always a great feeling when you manage to solve the puzzle, even if it takes a few more guesses than you’d like.
Overall, today’s puzzle was a bit challenging, but still quite enjoyable. I’m looking forward to seeing what tomorrow’s Wordle will bring.
