I finished this one in five. It’s my first finish in five in two days. The last time I got a five was Wednesday, May 3.

Welcome back to the daily wordle blog post! Today’s word was “HOTLY,” and it proved to be quite the challenge for me. It took me a total of five guesses to figure out the answer, but I finally got there in the end.

My first guess was “GRIFT,” but I quickly realized that the letter “T” was the only correct letter, and it was in the wrong place. My second guess was “TODAY,” which gave me two correct letters in the right place – “O” and “Y” – but the “T” was still in the wrong spot.

On my third guess, I tried “MOTHY,” which gave me three correct letters in the right place – “O,” “T,” and “Y” – but unfortunately the “H” was in the wrong spot. My fourth guess was “HOTTY,” which gave me four correct letters in the right place – “H,” “O,” “T,” and “Y” – but I was still missing the final letter.

Finally, on my fifth and final guess, I tried “HOTLY,” and to my great relief, it was the correct answer! It just goes to show that sometimes it takes a little perseverance and trial-and-error to solve these word puzzles.
