I finished this one in five. It’s my first finish in five in two days. The last time I got a five was Sunday, May 7.
Analysis:
Welcome back to the Wordle blog! It’s day nine of May, and we’re back with yet another puzzle to solve. Today’s word was “ATTIC.”
This time, it took me a total of five guesses to figure out the answer. My first guess was “GRIFT,” which did not help much. However, my second guess, “MISTY,” did not lead me any closer to the solution. With the third guess, “INTEL,” I was able to determine that the letter “T” was in the correct place, but the “I” was still in the wrong spot.
My fourth guess was “PATIO,” where I was able to get two letters, “I” and “T,” in the correct spot, but the “A” was still misplaced. Finally, on my fifth and final guess, I was able to uncover the correct answer – “ATTIC!”
While it’s not my best performance, I’m still happy to have solved it in just five guesses. That being said, it’s worth noting that of the nine days so far in May, I have solved the puzzle in exactly five guesses six times. This is worse than my average of just above four guesses to solve the puzzle, including this month’s five-guess solutions.
Thanks for joining me for another Wordle adventure. Check back tomorrow for another exciting challenge!
