For the past couple months I’ve been working on an end table that I had picked up for free. The project got me started on a weekly woodworking blog post. I had reason to publish my progress every Tuesday. I started writing the blog posts Mondays so they would drop reliably at 10AM PT.
I had faced some slowdowns because I was waiting for necessary things to be delivered. This week I wrote about a separate project because I was missing the last part I needed to complete the table.
The part came on Wednesday. Now the table is done.
I’m excited not only to publish the final post in this end table refinishing series but to start writing about the next project.
I have a lot of material to write about because doing these projects is exciting for me.
The next series is about another table. I think the chairs series follows that. Oh, man. These chairs are a project I’m happy I started, but they’re way more work than I had expected. Nowhere close to being done with those.
Early on, I was priding myself on having x-ray vision on craigslist posts. I could find gems hidden under the ugliness of mistreatment or age. Cocksure? For sure!
Turns out I’m not batting 1.000, and I’m looking forward to sharing with you the things that didn’t go so well.
Thank you for reading what I write, and I’m excited to continue to entertain you and earn your readership.
Stay safe out there, and enjoy your weekend!
